The key dates have been announced for the Australian national EVOO and Table Olives Competition, so lock them in to your calendar. We’ll bring you updates in coming editions of Friday Olive Extracts as further details are announced.

Key dates: Entries open 10 June and close on 2 September, with judging on 10 September for table olives and 16-17 September for EVOO. The awards presentation will be held during the 2016 AOA National Conference & Expo in Geelong, Vic on 3 October.

Note: NIR testing for EVOO samples will no longer be carried out by the competition organisers. Entrants need to arrange their own testing and submit the results with their samples.
