The program for the Olives NZ Conference 2016 makes for a jam-packed weekend of ‘must have’ information, with the Conference on Saturday, 15 October, Awards Dinner that evening, and an Organoleptic Assessment Seminar on the Sunday, run by international Head Judge Reni Hildenbrand. Titled “Increasing the Market Share for NZ EVOO”, the program acknowledges that the bumper harvest in most regions provides challenges to grow markets for NZ EVOO and then maintain the level of production to service those evolving markets. Hence the two main focuses will be marketing initiatives and addressing issues facing olive growers in the Southern Hemisphere. Late registrations are available, with full program details and the registration form are now available here.

… and if you haven’t seen it already, don’t miss our preview of the Conference in the September edition of Olivegrower & Processor.
