The winners of the Australian National Table Olive Competition 2007 have just been announced.
Darren McKenzie from VIVA, Loxton in SA has been awarded the Best of Show. McKenzie has won a trip to Italy with Olive Care Australia, departing in October this year. On behalf of Ryan Publications, McKenzie also wins a $100 olive bookshop voucher, one-year subscription to the Olivegrower & Processor, and will be profiled in the November/December issue.
With a total of 82 entries, VIVA was also awarded a gold medal, alongside gold medal winner Western Australia’s Frankland River Olive Company.
